About Malone Lankford, Esq.

Malone Lankford is an experienced employment attorney who specializes in conducting neutral workplace investigations and providing employment law training. She is licensed in Texas, where she spent ten years as a litigator with global employment law firm, Littler Mendelson, P.C. During that time, Malone conducted countless investigations into employee allegations in the context of discrimination charges and litigation.

Malone’s background gives her a deep understanding of how the quality of a workplace investigation can affect litigation. Her years of defending employers provided insight into how an isolated complaint can escalate into a costly lawsuit if not investigated properly. From putting interviewees at ease to managing highly sensitive matters, Malone brings a prompt, thorough, impartial, and human-centered approach to every investigation.

She is an active member of the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI), the premier national organization for professionals in the workplace investigations field. Malone regularly participates in AWI webinars and workshops and has attended its intensive training institute.

Outside her legal work, Malone is most often found behind a microphone or in the saddle on a horse farm in Aiken, South Carolina. She’s a nationally syndicated radio personality and an overly proud dog mom to Bernie, who remains unconvinced, despite Malone’s ongoing efforts, that fetch is worth his time.
